BTW, someone did get Wireshark running on a rooted Android, but I think it'd be hard to do analysis with my eyes bleeding from looking at that small screen: http://balintreczey.hu/blog/run-wireshark-on-android-using-lil-debi/karyrogershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03289860863412128475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3266263034124005485.post-37315813632741013532014-07-03T07:10:19.017+01:002014-07-03T07:10:19.017+01:00Haa, really interesting analogy. It's said that Capsa is a wireshark-like tool, also has a free edition for non-commercial use. That's why it attracts me. Well, I decide to have a check. Also, the problems they were looking at were either (a) not problems or (b) easily diagnosed with open source tools. These experiences have led me to the (possibly unfair) opinion that commercial packet analyzers are a bit like shoes with velcro closures.chris margethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06646973209424821070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3266263034124005485.post-54213259673083340652014-06-26T06:51:56.827+01:002014-06-26T06:51:56.827+01:00Hi Chris, great post. seems that you are quite fam...Hi Chris, great post. seems that you are quite familiar with network monitoring tools.
